Steven Lundblad, LMT

Steven has been a licensed practicing massage therapist since 1993. He uses a unique blend of Swedish, Acupressure, Sports, Deep Tissue, and Soft Tissue Release massage techniques individualized for each client to promote health and well-being. He provides detailed massage therapy with a goal toward positive healing in a courteous, caring, and respectful manner. He specializes in relaxation, deep tissue, treatment of headaches & body pain, and injury recovery.

Steven received a certificate in Classical Swedish Massage and Sports Massage from the Myotone Institute, Wakefield MA, in 1992. He has also received certificates in Soft Tissue Release from the British Sports Therapy Institute in 1997, the Assessment and Treatment of Headaches from the Benjamin Institute in 2007, and On-Site Chair Massage from David Palmer in 1994. Steven also designed and instructed non-credit Swedish Massage classes for North Shore Community College and North Shore Regional Vocational School from 1995 through 2012.

Outside of massage therapy, he has helped people with their mobility, strength, balance, posture, and pain issues working as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.  In addition, he received a BS in Computer Science in 1986 from UMASS Amherst, and has practiced Kempo Karate since 1976, an interest which led him to massage. He believes true health is achieved through exercise/movement, rejuvenation/healing, and meditation/awareness, and that massage therapy improves them all.
